Although it didn't 'grab me', I enjoyed this very much. I'm not really into horror. I don't get creeped out when reading it, but this was enjoyable. The characters themseves dragged me along on their journey. They feel very normal, which I loved. I could imagine my wife and I reacting in the same way, especially the stupid quips in the face of impending doom. I also love that Kingfisher is very easy to read.
