Oof. I've loved the other books from Liu Cixin but this one flopped hard for me.
The premise is great, and I think a lot of interesting stories could be done with it, but this is not one of them. This is more a thought experiment than a novel.
No character has any development or depth. Some are made recognizable but that's as far as the development goes.
