Wolfe's quest to find the murderer forces him (and the long-suffering Archie) to return to his homeland, Montenegro, where Yugoslav and Russian communists are all likely to kill him. Not to mention the difficulty of climbing a mountain when one weighs a seventh of a ton.
One of the best Nero Wolfe Stories I have read yet. Very Different in tone, but fascinating.
