One of the main ways I relate to things is through their history: If I understand where something comes from, then I can understand where it is now and where it might go in the future. As a fan of yuri manga, I was thrilled to discover this history of yuri as a genre, and then to discover that it was written by one of the people actually involved in making that history made it even better!
