This installment of Brainscan recounts Alex's elevator ride with her abusive ex-husband after signing their divorce papers. She awaits the freedom that their divorce will bring, remembers details of their courtship, and reminds herself of the upcoming changes in her life. The zine is packaged in a graph paper envelope and has the sparse cursive text intermittently overlaid on graphics. Our copy is #43 from a limited run of 54.
