Brainscan

Written for the 2011 24-Hour Zine Challenge, this installment of Brainscan attempts to answer the persistent question asked to author Alex Wrekk: "What do you do?" Alex clarifies that her zine-making is a hobby, while her book Stolen Sharpie Revolution, her Portland-based button-making business and renting rooms in her house are where her income is derived. She goes into detail about the refurbishing of the house that she acquired in her divorce settlement, her flower and hops garden, and the three tenants and two cats she lives with. The zine also has a colorful floral cover and a colored centerfold timeline of her relationship with Paul.
