Review of 'The Nearest Exit' on 'Goodreads'

1 star isn't enough to express how much I disliked this book. The narrator's range of voices was limited to about 3 different people. Everyone else basically sounded the same/bad. I'm fairly certain I could also hear every time he had a moist mouth.

Perhaps I did myself a disservice by not reading the first book in this series but it didn't seem like I needed to. But I just didn't really care about Milo or who killed that kid and I'm not even sure if there were any other plot points. The only part I found interesting was when the other tourists got together but that plot point was abruptly dropped. I listened to this as an audiobook on my laptop so I couldn't even speed it up.
