Review of "Wild Animals I Have Known (Yesterday's Classics)" on 'Goodreads'

My father had this book when he was young. I found it in his office when I was about 12 and cried through the whole thing. The one thing that has stuck with me all these years is a comment the author made (and I had to look this up to get it right because it’s been decades since I read the book): The life of a wild animal always has a tragic end.
