Review of 'The Adventures of Augie March' on 'Goodreads'

I do feel like I really got to know Augie very much. I never really noticed it was a telling of The American Dream. In my opinion the story was mostly about failure to live that dream, with the eventual success happening in the last 10-15% of the story.

It took me a long time to finish this book, but now it's over it's easy for me to see that I did like it.
