This plot is so involved and unexpected! The three main narrators all seem to be presenting the story to their own advantage, often throwing the others under the bus. And the actual question gets muddled and confused: who actually did what, and what is actually happens? And how many apparently side characters are involved and in what way? Is any of them guilty, and if so, of what?
It takes the entire book to answer these questions and others, and the reader is kept intrigued and involved all the way through.
Due to my reading speed and lack of continual visual ability and concentration, it took an entire month, with Goodreads deciding a couple times (incorrectly) that I had finished, I was unable to complete the book entirely smoothly, but it was worthwhile. Looking into minds, motivations, and societal prejudices made the book enjoyable and rewarding. Looking back, I suppose …
