Review of 'You Have Seven Messages' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
Too long and slow. Two thirds through this book, the protagonist has solvled the mystery of her mother's death and her father's role in it. The final third, then, is a protracted denouement in which she tracks down the boy she has a crush on. I am not the target audience, but I would have preferred more death-under-mysterious-circumstances and less romantic misunderstanding. Plus one star for repeatedly name-checking Imogen Heap.
