Yes, this is from the "Alan Lightman" the author of the interesting and surreal book "Einstein's dream". No, this is not in anyway related to Ada Lovelace.
p.s: Einstein's dream is related to Einstein in a way. If you are someone who enjoys poetry and science and technology, you might enjoy reading "Einstein's dream". I did.
