Came for Star Wars horror, got a just okay story with a surprising amount of sexism

There is only one named female character (Zahara Cody) in this story (there's technically a second, Kai Zook, but she is incredibly minor; all we learn about her is that she's attractive and has kids), and pretty much every other named character has a segment where they either think or talk about her attractiveness. At one point Han Solo (more on that later) thinks of her as "the lady doctor." One could say that's just being true to his character, but on top of everything else, it just felt unnecessary and excessive.
Aside from that, I found the idea of horror set in the Star Wars universe to be a pretty intriguing concept, but, for me at least, this ended up being a just okay horror story and a just okay Star Wars story. The introduction of Han and Chewie especially ruined it. The horror is completely undermined when you have characters who you know can't come to any meaningful amount of harm.
All-in-all, unless you're specifically looking for Star Wars horror and don't mind unnecessary sexism, there are much better books you could pick up.
