Although I enjoy Dungeons & Dragons and this book was well written I just couldn't get into it. The way everything about the world (races, occupations, etc.) seemed to be tied directly to D&D kept pulling me out of the story. It also felt as if the story might be more enjoyable if I had read the previous books and new the characters better.

I may pick this up again later, but it was what I needed right now.
