In a radio-era city under the thumb of vague oppression, two freaks of science struggle to accomplish their personal goals.
For his part, Vatsy wishes to become a journalist. His obstacles include a weak grasp on reality, an appalling lack of talent, and a habit for making precisely the wrong enemies in a city where contract violence is the most enduring industry.
Bruno's goal is a little more simple: keep himself and his associate alive in the face of hazardous conditions, lunatic bounty hunters, colorful assassins, and the fallout of mad science gone wrong.
