This is an enjoyable read. Interesting characters, a plausible plot, a little bit of humor, and an interesting historical setting are all included. It is nearer to being a cozy mystery than a historical fiction, to my mind. Worthwhile entertainment..
A spirited American girl becomes Winston Churchill's secretary though she would rather be cracking ciphers. Bit of an old-fasioned "girl's own" adventure flavor to this story.
