I definitely liked the first book more than the second. But I've also been suffering from a reading slump, so that likely effected my enjoyment of this book. That said, I still found it incredibly easy to put this book down constantly and didn't feel desperate to pick it back up each time I put it down, yet when I WAS reading it, it held my attention very well and I wanted to know how everything wove together. The twists and turns the book took were excellent, the emotions held my heart tight, and the conclusion was quite good.
