Christy and Austin, teenage friends with "forgotten" childhoods, get lost in a mental hospital in Boston. Hospital administration gives them new names and identities, as Scott and Alice. As their perceptions of reality shift and they search for the truth, they meet an enigmatic Outlaw who helps them see beyond the lies.
