Well, I love everything Sam J. Miller does soooo, you know I loved this book. The only reason it got 4/5 stars is because it felt more than a little unclear at times and I'll need to read it again to fully grasp everything that went down. Miller's books frequently ride this surrealist edge, but this one straight up straddles it - time travel(?), Malevolent pseudo-deities, ghosts(?), Terrorism, love, hate, brutality and tenderness. This book has it all. And I think, for me, I got a little lost in it all and need to spend more time to really feel the weight of the story. But that last chapter? Those last few lines? Chef's kiss
