I think some readers out there might get something great out of this little book, but it was a mix of preaching to the choir & also playing it way too safe for me. Still, there were good suggestions - maybe not the most astonishingly original, and I think no matter what, many of these “resist tech/automation” books written by white cis dudes feel like they’re coming from a place that’s very much a middle-class-at-least baseline (like, yeah, a renowned SF pottery studio and a guy from Toyota are going to push back against being replaced by machines, lol). Anyway, dude is a decent writer and there were some diamonds in the rough… mostly cribbed from nonwhite female thinkers in the tech space.
