A lot of interesting tidbits, though a lot of it is mostly just applicable to the UK. Also about a third of the book is about the author's adventures, which, though not boring, is not why I picked up the book.

Review of "The lost art of reading nature's signs" on 'Goodreads'

This was really interesting. I'm not much of an outdoorswoman, but it's still really cool to know how much rhyme and reason there is behind what you see outside, and to imagine being able to find your way without your phone, or even a compass or map.
