Review of 'The Phantom of the Opera' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

A well-told story, this book had a great plot and some stable character development.

The phantom's character was well-established and very well done, as he is an extremely complex character.

My personal favorite character was the Persian. I thought his character was developed exceptionally well, although he was mainly in the story only at the end.

My only regret was that at some points the story actually seemed to move too quickly, not giving the reader enough time to reflect on what had just happened.

Overall, fantastic book, great job Gaston Leroux!
