Some of these stories will make you laugh while others will bring you to tears but, once again, every one of them will demand that you keep turning the page until you finally discover what happens to this remarkable cast of characters.
A very readable collection of short stories, enjoyable and well written but not particularly demanding. Some of the endings were more predictable than others, but the telling of he story was still enjoyable even if it was clear where it was heading. To my surprise, a story about golf was my favorite. Good holiday or travel reading.
