The Wait

The Wait is a novel that explores what attracts people to the opposite sex. Angel Stevenson, the main character, has made several mistakes when choosing the men she has dated. After losing herself in the most recent relationship, she spends a year trying to figure out just what her needs are. During that year, she meets and falls in love with Todd Sessoms, but after a minor crisis in his life, his behavior changes and she starts to question if he is the person she thought he was. When she reveals that she has committed to a year of celibacy, she puts their relationship in jeopardy.
