Did not want to mark this as read because, in fact, I had not. But I wanted to keep a record that I tried and did not finish this book, and Goodreads won’t let me put this in a custom DNF shelf without also putting it in one of the three default ones.

I think this is the lowest rating I had to give any Outlander book so far. 3/4 of the book very really boring. Nothing happened except for household chore and love-making. Only the last 20% are really interesting. Could have lived without the repetitive rest of the book. Now I'm looking forward to the next book after the twists and turns of the end.

It sure took me a long time to finish this book, but I just didn't want it to end. There weren't all that many boring parts in this book, and more questions were answered. It did have a cliffhanger ending, so now I've just got to start the next book!
