Review of 'Shambhala' on 'Goodreads'

Inspired by the wise rulers of a legendary Tibetan kingdom, Chögyam Trungpa presents a compelling vision of what it means to be an enlightened human. I found this to be a fascinating, mind-altering book, providing an almost extra-dimensional parallel to Buddhist philosophy, though not always consonant with the dharma as I know it (which is very little). Written in a gentle, engaging, and yet somewhat mysterious style, Shambhala demands repeat readings, as its provocative imagery plants itself in your mind, illuminating how we, only as individuals striving for enlightenment, can change the world.
