The River of Smoke continues the excellent Ibis Trilogy. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and am looking forward to the last book of the series.
I would recommend this series to anyone who is interested in historical fiction, Indian history, the British Raj and the Opium Wars. The cast of the book is thoroughly engaging and the writing is top-notch.
