This was a fast read mostly because it's clearly a young adult novel. But I'm a sucker for a good fantasy story, and Riordan does a great job actually introducing Greek and Roman mythology (I suppose he did the same thing with the Percy Jackson novels, but I didn't read those.)
I would give this book 3 1/2 stars if that were possible.
