Review of 'The sword of Shannara' on 'Goodreads'

This was a pretty flagrant rip of Tolkein's Lord of the Rings, but very good in its own right. Brooks tells a very compelling story and despite its similarities to Tolkein's works, it stands as a good work of fiction. I got wrapped up in reading it and couldn't put it down at the end.
