Review of 'The Most Fun We Ever Had: A Novel' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
I'm a sucker for characters who come to life, where I can feel like a fly on the wall observing another family's drama. That's probably why I enjoyed this book so much, as it spans the course of a marriage (and the four daughters that result from it) from the 1970s through 2017. People who don't enjoy this book will probably complain that they don't see the point or that nothing really happens. This book is about the complex dynamics that govern our relationships, and how no one ever really knows - or can know - the whole story, often even about themselves.
