Review of 'Simplicissimus' on 'Storygraph'

Three to four stars. It’s hard to rate a centuries old novel. It’s definitely not the best ancient novel I’ve read. I liked it, hated it at times, but, as with all very old stories, found it absolutely fascinating to read about how people lived and thought in the 17th century.
