Both touching and verisimilar, Brosgol perfectly captures the emotions of the just-slightly-different kid who doesn't quite fit in. The camping experience is beautifully (or horribly) rendered, and shows all of the wonderful and awful parts of those experiences that unite everyone who has ever attended a camp in the forest.
