The 14th Colony

The story moved in fits & starts. The plot was entertaining but the story line lacked pace, it was just too slow.

Perhaps I'm remembering the earlier books in this series more fondly than I should, but the writing level seems to have dropped. The storyline was relatively interesting, though I preferred the ancient history themes of the earlier novels to the American history of recent ones, but the writing itself was pretty dull.
