lokroma reviewed Negotiating with the dead by Margaret Atwood
Review of 'Negotiating with the dead' on 'Goodreads'

Understanding ideas and motivations about writing from an author I've always admired was absorbing, but what I liked best about this series of six lectures she gave at Cambridge are the flashes of details about her life of which I know very little. Atwood is knowledgable, wise, and mischievously funny; and she carves out a nice big place for female writers in this book which references a lot of historical literature. As we'd expect she would.
