I would describe this book as the opening to a series that you will not stop reading.
This is filled with Magic, Secrets, Power, and Fear that you will read over and over again. You feel like you are sucked in with the characters of the book.

Besides the parallels with Harry Potter and the spoon-fed information it was a decent read.
Wow! Nie hätte ich gedacht, dass ich das Buch so gut bewerte! Die Rezensionen sind wirklich nicht sonderlich klasse. Überall liest man, dass es ein billiger Harry Potter Abklatsch ist - Leute, habt ihr das Buch gelesen? Klar, hier geht's um Magie, und um eine Gruppe bestehend aus zwei Jungs und einem Mädel. Das war's. Der Rest ist anders. Das Ende. WOW! Ich muss zugeben, dass ich die erste Hälfte des Buches eher lahm fand und mich die zweite Hälfte erst richtig überzeugt hat. Ich bin ein Fan von Cassandra Clare und sie hat mich (juhu!) nicht enttäuscht :) ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf die folgenden Bände! Und ja, es ist ein Schmuckstück für das Bücherregal (zumindest die deutsche Version) :) und hej: nicht davon abschrecken lassen, dass es in der Kinderbuchabteilung ab 10 Jahren steht, es ist für jedermann was!
