Oh dear, what a ride!
There were a couple of moments when I wasn't sure if liked the direction in which the story was headed. But it turns out that my worries were unfounded.
Although "The Remnant Chronicles" isn't my favourite series of all times it is still pretty solid and I think that especially teenage girls will enjoy it.
And you should definitely read the novella "Morrighan" before diving into "The Beauty of Darkness" as it isn't only a wonderful story but also provides all the historical background you might need.
