A well curated collection Annie Dillard's essays. I came into this by reading her first essay about the 1979 eclipse in central Washington State during the partial eclipse in 2017 in New York State.
My favorite stories - Eclipse, An Expedition to the Pole, A Writer in the World.
I had already the Eclipse and A Writer in the World (from the Writing Life) reading both again didn't take anything away.
Some of the best essays I've read.
