I liked the Rebecca cook reading better than Patrick Lawson. My library actually had both as Overdrive editions so I borrowed both to see the difference. Neither reader is great and neither did I dislike, I just liked Rebecca Cooke's version better. (Listen to the Patrick Lawson version 2022 and didn't hate him but disliked him to a point, Rebecca Cook is much better. Went back and got that version from the library again and was much better. Suggest to anyone to search for that version. Audible is the Lawson version and it is not worth it)


So decided to re-read this one as it was one of my favorites of the Carpathians. These book become incredibly repetitive. This one is different as the woman is [Carpathian (hide spoiler)] special. She is intelligent and has learned much. Gabriel is not overwhelming like many of the other Carpathian males. Skylar …
