I was so irritated with myself for taking so long with this book. Just like my writing, my reading about writing was very start and stop for the last year or so. But, just like my writing, I'm so so so glad I didn't give up. I don't think that last page of the Coda would have hit the same if I hadn't been in the mental space I am now.

That made it worth the wait.
