Falling Man finds Delillo back in top form as one of the best writers of our time. Delillo is perhaps the only author who can be trusted to write a good story about 9/11. As in Delillo's best works, such as Underworld, Libra, and White Noise, the dialogues are edgy and clever, the sense of a fullness of history is innate, and almost every sentence and description hits you with the magnitude of its perfection.
