i wish i had read this before seeing the movie. i do prefer the book and the way the story is handled, it builds up suspense very well and the ending really felt intense. i would definitely recommend this book, however, I don't think this is exactly horror...
I saw the trailer for the Netflix movie on YouTube this afternoon. I love me a Kaufman movie, and I always wished I had read Eternal Sunshine before watching the movie. So I torrented the epub and read it in three fitful hours. I'm gutted. I haven't felt this haunted by a book since House of Leaves. There's someone standing in the corner watching me. He's always been there.

this book had me sold for 218 pages and then I couldn't roll my eyes hard enough at the ending.
