The writing of The Diviners is eloquent and often haunting. I loved every aspect of this book from the characters with all their faults and secrets to the creepy horror of the paranormal mystery to a setting expressed brilliantly in pop culture references, slang, and current events - so well executed, I'm sure Libba Bray put a great amount of research into this book. Cannot express enough how pleased I was with this story and I now eagerly await Lair of Dreams.
