It's probably a high three, but the couple of really good stories are dragged down by an uneven collection. A couple seem like unfinished ideas that could be fleshed out into something wonderful.

A wonderful collection of stories inspired in part by comics culture. Lethem's fluid prose reads like a benign version of PKD, constantly teetering between hallucination and fantasy.
