I found many plot holes in the narrative and the premise, and flat characters. I usually enjoy any science fiction novel for the value of bringing the mind out to other worlds, and breaking assumptions, but this one, I would not recommend.

A post apocalyptic novel with a paratrooper twist.

A bit extreme in the level of danger what's left of humanity faces, I don't think the scenario is actually survivable.

A bit too cliche with too much pathos.
However, very engaging action that kept me glued to my earbuds and made me care about the hive's survival.
