Review of 'The last hawk' on 'Goodreads'
I finished half this book, that is Book 1 It was good, but not so good that I could stay away from other books long enough to finish it. I liked the ideas, the characters and especially the ideas. The gender role switcharoo, with the main character as a golden boy-toy was refreshing and relaxing. What sick thing is it in me that would rather read a horrid dystopia where the characters fight in vain against an awful patriarchy? I just couldn't muster on this book, even though I give it 2 thumbs up....
