Review of 'Jedi Trial (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel)' on 'Goodreads'

Well, seeing the reviews for this one, wasn't sure I wanted to listen to it, but I had it, and I could fit it in one work day. So I did, and I didn't mind it. It's probably going to be one of those that I'm not going to listen to again, but I guess I did rather like it. It kind of felt like listening to a Clone Wars episode where instead of the Anakin/Obi-Wan duo planning a mission, they paired Anakin with someone else. And here he isn't general yet, but commander. The Jedi he was paired with, unless he was in another book that I hadn't touched (yet), kind of felt forced since he also was secretly married, but that really didn't come up for any reason after simply mentioning it (unless that was in another legends clone wars related book, don't know). So, sure, there were some plot bits that really seemed like they could have been left out or expanded more, but all in all, I would actually say that if you liked the Clone Wars series, to give it a try.
