Cult Classic

Listen, I don’t hate pretentious books as a rule or anything, but this one lost me.

Well I hated the ending. I still really enjoyed reading this book. Lots of clever lines, a great female protagonist I could relate to, some weird stuff going on. But ugh. What a bad ending. I could have used more closure, ironically, given that was supposed to be the purpose of all the events here. I don’t know if I’d recommended it. It’s not bad for a summer/beach read. The writing was fun if nothing else. I dont know…. It was ok…
