Thirteen

I didn't know that this book was in a series. That being said, I tried to like it. I did think that the lawyer drank too much, and I hoped things would have ended well for him. I also had issues with the fact that I couldn't figure out if why the cops never caught the serial killer earlier. I found it he hard to believe everything that the serial killer did. You could tell that the cops that Eddie dealt with were crooked from the beginning. I felt like the author was trying to decide whether he wanted the book to be a lawyer novel or a serial killer novel.
