Review of 'Manhood for amateurs' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

I'm not generally one for personal narratives, but Chabon has struck me as an interesting guy in the interviews I've read. I've just become a new dad, too, so I was in the right frame of mind for a book dealing with "the pleasures and regrets of a husband, father, and son." This book turned out to be a quick, insightful read, and even more than before Chabon strikes me as the kind of guy it'd be fun to have a beer with.
