I wanted to like it, but overall I only thought it was OK. Too much going on and so far I don't get a feeling that it's all intentional suspense. The main characters are mainly annoying, the antagonist apparently simply "evil" and the story all over the place. The world seems to be laughably small and yet large enough that people have no idea about most places. I'd say this is the thing I dislike the most.
I cannot recommend this book. You might like it, but I think most people won't.
